Associated Press - More pianos that have been decorated by local artists are popping up around Detroit, offering passers-by a chance to create music in unexpected places. The Detroit Institute of Arts has partnered with Keys in the Cities and Forward Arts on the project to place pianos at three Detroit locations: the Ford Resource and Engagement Center in southwest Detroit, Belle Isle park and the Osborn neighborhood on the east side. A kickoff event is set for late Thursday afternoon.
