DIA acquires African American artwork Kurt Nagl - The Detroit Institute of Arts recently acquired 14 pieces of African American art, including work from Wadsworth Jarrell, founder of Chicago's AfriCOBRA artists collective born from the Civil Rights Movement, according to a DIA news release.
